©AfreePress- (Lomé, December 12, 2020)- President Faure Gnassingbé addressed Saturday, December 12, 2020, his congratulations to his counterpart Nana Dankwa Akufo-Addo, winner of the presidential election in Ghana held on December 7.
In a message posted on his Twitter account, the Togolese Head of State congratulates his « friend » from Ghana for his « brilliant » re-election at the head of this country and reassures his commitment to strengthen their collaboration for the happiness of the two Nations neighbors.
“I extend my warm and cordial congratulations to my brother and friend @NakufoAddo on his brilliant re-election to the supreme office of his country. I would like to assure him of my firm availability to work to strengthen the cooperation links between our two States and to work together for the consolidation of sub-regional integration, ”he wrote.
It should be noted that Ghanaian President Nana Dankwa Akufo-Addo was re-elected with 51.59% of the vote against his opponent, the former president, John Mahama.
