©AfreePress-(Lomé, november 15, 2023)- The Togolese Revenue Office (OTR) categorically denies the information regarding a call for applications for the recruitment of customs surveillance agents. This notice has been circulating on social media platforms for the past few days.
“The Togolese Revenue Office (OTR) informs the public that this notice did not originate from us and emphasizes that we do not use social media or instant messaging applications for our staff recruitment,” stated a press release received on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, by the AfreePress news agency.
OTR urges the public to remain vigilant and refrain from sharing such dubious information on social media.
“We are committed to ensuring transparency in our recruitment processes and providing accurate and verifiable information to the public. OTR will take the necessary steps to identify those responsible for these actions and bring them to justice in accordance with Togo’s laws,” concluded the statement.
